It will not run.Īgain, on the host computer, I can restart each morning and then CyberPatrol will run. Also, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling CyberPatrol, but that does not help. I have tried using System Restore to go back, and on that computer, when I go to choose a date, it has wiped out previous dates to restore to - that just happened yesterday.

I can open CyberPatrol in safe mode, but it will not work in regular startup mode. Seems to me that whatever is causing the "server busy" error has somehow corrupted/is in conflict with CyberPatrol. But - even with CyberPatrol NOT running, we cannot access the internet from that computer, as it just "hangs" when you try to open Internet Explorer.

exe file for the CyberPatrol just hangs and will not open up, whether using the desktop shortcut or even finding the actual file in the Program Files folder. However, the older desktop has become so affected that it will not run CyberPatrol anymore.

When we do, on the host computer, everything loads fine and I can open up the CyberPatrol software for my kids to use this computer. We cannot get out of the endless loop, so we have to restart these 2 computers each morning. It seems to be hung up with our internet filtering software CyberPatrol 7.7. Here is what happens, and when: these two computers are left running overnight, but when we go to wake them in the morning, both have the "server busy" dialog box. Just this week, we have started to have trouble with ONLY THE TWO DESKTOPS RUNNNING XP. The other two computers on the network are brand new laptops, running Windows 7, I think. One of them is an even older desktop, also running XP, which connects to the router through a USB wireless.

I have an older desktop PC running Windows XP which, through a wireless router, is the host for 3 other computers in our home.
